Much-needed new ID depicting Kit. This'll also probably turn into a reference pic at some point.

Hatred is nothing, but Poison. Poison for the soul, for you, and for anyone else. It makes you feel good, but it serves no one; for, it is just an invitation to kill, to win enemies, and to sink your soul into oblivion.
also, yuppers! It's a reference to the King of Hearts if you don't spend as much time staring at cards as I do. (This isn't any old ordinary sarcastic comment, by the way - I actually collect cards as souvenirs.)

The cardboard props aren't really supposed to represent things I like; they're just images. Firstly, I liked the sort of contrast between the badly drawn peaceful images (flowers, music, a bird) and the somewhat better drawn less serene ones (the sword, the rocketship.) Secondly, it's a reference to the king of hearts in an ordinary deck of cards, who holds a sort that goes behind, or perhaps into, his head.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
